About the Speaker:
Helen Motteram (BSc Hons) is the proud founder of Social Paws - specialising in helping anxious/nervous dogs.
She is also the founder of the Pet Professional Network - a global organisation supporting other Pet Professionals.
Helen is known for her unique and colourful personality where the animal's welfare is always a priority. She has trained ferrets, birds, degus and dogs so has had a wide variety of experiences which add to her unusual portfolio.
Helen is committed to helping dog owners through her empathy and understanding. Having had an anxious dog - Sally, she helps use her own experiences to walk in the dog owners shoes.
Helen works alongside many families and having previously worked as a support teacher for young adults with additional needs, is a big fan of social stories and helping families still have fun with their dogs taking more of a hands off consent based approach.
